Welcome, dog lovers! Extra wags and one ear up to those of you who have already been McNabbed -- that event that occurs when a Mcnab steals your heart. If you aren't familiar with the amazing, scary-smart breed of dog known as the McNab (or by the various permutations of its name such as McNab Border Collie, McNab Stock Dog, McNab Shepherd, or similar verbiage), here's an introduction to them: Earl's hub You'll meet Earl, our beloved McNab, in it. Earl is a four-year old McNab. He's a philosopher, a poet, a romantic, a wit, and a dog who puts everything he's got into the task at hand -- whether it's the hose game, supervising his humans and his fellow furries, chasing the ball, or playing laser tag. He's fearless when it comes to chasing off coyotes, but frightened of the two tiny new kittens. He has the most expressive ears known to dogdom (heck, I even wrote an article just about the ears of Earl!) and eyes that will melt asbestos. Earl is very much his own dog. He's very much an independent thinker, yet manages to balance that with being the most well-behaved dog I've ever known. He also has some strong opinions on things: tiger-ring toy and fresh carrots, yes! Windy days and retractable pens, no! and so it only makes sense that he should have his own blogspot. Earl is our on-site product tester, our Zen dog who doesn't believe in swatting flies or spraying bugs, and our sweet little boy.
